SNAP
One-hour dramedy television series
By Steven L. Sears
Set against the backdrop of famous names and A-List personalities, a self-destructive, self-hating tabloid paparazzi photographer tries to fight his way out of the underbelly of the world of celebrities, glitz, and glamour, searching for “The Photo” that can reclaim his lost glory as a legitimate photographer.
His quest leads to a darker, more obscene side of fame where human beings are traded for pleasure, and murder is a small price to pay to keep secrets. Those in power will do anything to protect themselves, including destroying him and any one he cares about.
The dark humor of a Californication, the high celebrity glamor of an Entourage, combined with a True Detective suspense, SNAP is the continuing story of one man at war with himself. An out of control train heading toward an inevitable crashing end, he has made a conscious decision to turn it all around. If not for himself, then for his newly discovered daughter. He goes from being a man with nothing at stake, to a father who will do anything he can to protect her from the darkness and evil in his world. Even if he is a complete stranger to her.
